MEN IN BLACK 3 2012 MOVIE

Except, you know, there aren’t those devices that
, uh, goes into you. (Hey, it still beats getting molested by the TSA at airports.) Other than that? It looks like whoever wrote Barry Sonnenfeld’s “Men in Black 3″ had a little inspiration one night while watching an old episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s “South Park”, and decided to incorporate Mr. Garrison’s little invention into a chase scene in the sci-fi sequel. I could be wrong, of course.

Take a look at a new clip from “Men in Black 3″, which finds Will Smith traveling back into the past to team up with a younger Agent K (now played by Josh Brolin) in order to save the present day from an impending alien invasion. As with the previous two “Men in Black” films, expect plenty of goofy aliens, some shockingly obvious CG, and Will Smith being Will Smith. Aw hell yeah!

Also starring Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Tommy Lee Jones, Bill Hader, Nicole Scherzinger, Jemaine Clement, and Michael Stuhlbarg.

THE POSSESSION 2012 MOVIE

I haven’t heard of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s “The Possession”
until now, but the Ole Bornedal-directed horror film has released an official poster, so here it is (below). Curiously, the poster has the look and tone of every other poster for movies about exorcism/possession in the last few years. I guess that’s what they were going for. And like most possession movies of recent years, this one is supposedly based on a “true story”, too.

Based on true events, “Possession” tells the story of the Brenek family: father Clyde, mother Stephanie, and daughter Em. When Em purchases an ancient box at a nearby yard sale, she becomes obsessed with her new artifact, and with good reason — lurking inside is a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.

The film co-stars Kyra Sedgwick, Grant Show, Madison Davenport, and Natasha Calis.
“The Possession” will try to grab a hold of you August 31, 2012.
